Dartford Choral Society is a group of about 25 amateur singers based in Dartford, Kent, England. We have the full range of soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices and perform various choral works in about four concerts each year, most of which are performed in local churches and chapels, or at the Mick Jagger Centre where our rehearsals take place. One concert each season is a Civic concert. Many of our soloists are professional singers but we also aim to encourage young emerging singers by offering opportunities for them to sing at selected concerts. Dartford Choral Society is affiliated to Making Music (The National Federation of Music Societies) and is a registered charity (number 1042096). Our November 2024 concert marked Michael Bell's 40th
anniversary as our Musical Director and also his retirement. We are grateful to
him for this long service. Our Christmas Concert will be lead by our Guest
Conductor - Richard Pilliner. We hope that when you have browsed through these pages, you will be able to join our Choir, or support us by attending our concerts or becoming a Patron.
